Boiling Eggs

I am boiling 36 eggs to take over to Sharay's so all the kids can decorate eggs this afternoon. I had to google "how to boil a egg" b/c I can never remember! But wait- I don't have to because of this AWESOME gadget my mama bought me a few years back

Cuisinart's Egg Cooker does up to 7 eggs at a time! Hard boiled, soft boiled- you name it! You just punch a tiny hole in the top of the egg, put directed amount of water in the bottom- switch it on and 15 minutes later you have perfect easter eggs!

Go get you one- cutting corners is the way to go!

Honeycrisp Apple I love you

We fell in love last year... when the produce guy at Fresh Market saw I had a bag of Honeycrisp Apples in my cart. He cut me a piece right there in the store and "oh my!" that was a beautiful thing. You see they only come to our store right around Thanksgiving to Christmas... so they are an awaited item. And when I googled them I see there are more fans out there.

My Boon Spoon

Look what I found! I was at Babies R Us and was going to get a pack of the Gerber spoons, which were like $8 (for spoons??) , and saw this nifty gadget by Boon . You put the baby food in the spoon, squirt out as much as you like and feed the babe!! Great for on the go; just throw it in the diaper bag b/c there is a little lid for the spoon. I just checked out the Boon website and oh my! They have so many cool things. Thought I'd share....

What do you see here? A cute baby- and my new pair of UGGS! Thanks Chris, Jess, and mom! I have already been rockin' them all night. No socks- like Christina said is the best way. And they are not "fuggs" (= fake uggs) as Kaela informed me. How funny is that! Can't decide if I like them best in or out- I think both are great. Can you feel my excitement!!!!

Take 5

I love a little sweet here and there... and if you haven't, try a Take 5! It has a pretzel on the inside, along with caramel and peanut butter: all covered in chocolate. A yummy chocolaty, peanutly, salty indulgence! The couple times I've had one, I had to eat it while Luke was at school (he's allergic to peanuts)... and when I picked him up, he immediately said without me saying but hello, "I smell yer peanut". Can you believe he knows that is peanut smell even though he has only tasted it once?? I am glad; that he knows he is allergic and to what!

There is so much neat stuff out there for baby... here are some favs that I've found online for her:

Baby Sling from Hotslings.com : I love the fabric and it is reversible to chocolate brown!

Miracle Blanket: to swaddle baby in... watch the video online-this is so great. Even has little flaps on the inside to tuck their arms in.

Graco Snugfit Carseat: Kind of reminds me of the baby sling fabric. And it can sit on the stroller frame from her stroller!
And her Bugaboo!!! Found it used on craigslist from a lady in Richmond. Have it all set up and it is awesome. We may use the bassinette part at home for sleeping- it is super soft. Luke keeps wanting to ride in it, but he was ok with just putting Curious George in there instead :)
