I've begged, I've pleaded, I've encouraged, I've bribed, I've spanked, I've cried...
I bought him Elmo, Bob the Builder, Diego, and Handy Manny Undies... but still no pooping on the potty :(
So I've resorted to patience. Do you think he will just one day do it ? ? ?

He'll eventually get it. We went through the same thing. Hang in there! :-)
He won't poop his pants at 15. HEE HEE
Lesli,
You just had a baby not long ago so it might be something that will take a little longer. Seth potty trained himself at 2 then we moved and I had Jude at 2.5 and Seth reversed on the potty training and let me tell you it was a nightmare. Poop everywhere. I tried everyone's advice and it backfired. I let him run naked in the yard...he pooped in the yard and the dog ate it....I had him clean his own poop then he wouldn't tell me and try to clean it himself using a whole box of wipes and getting poop everywhere. The list goes on and on. The doctor told me that he had a lot of changes and to just hold off until he was a little older. Sometimes with boys especially when so much is changing they just are not ready. My guess is your little guy too probably wants attention because the baby is taking more of what he use to have from you. Hug on him kiss on him, hold him when you have a chance. Stick a pull up on, encourage him and eventually he will do it. PS I think Seth was 3.5 when he finally stopped pooping in his pants. And Jude pooped in the potty but not pee (yeah backwards he has always marched to his own drum) until Adelee was born. He told me when she was born he would pee in the potty....and he did. So all that to say he will do it eventually. Did I tell you that potty training is my least favorite child stage. HEE HEE.
also go get poop in the potty song on itunes from Over the Rhine. At least you can laugh then. That was my theme song one year.
How old is he?
It will come. I promise, it will.
