Trip to Atlantis

This is my first entry so we will see how this blogging works! We took a great trip right after Thanksgiving to the Atlantis Resort on Paradise Island in the Bahamas. Luke being the seasoned travelor he is made friends with everyone on the plane rides. It really was a manageable flight stopping just in Atlanta. The weather was perfect- 84 and sunny. We went to the pools everyday and walked through the fish marinas alot. Luke loved the sharks and the manta rays. There was one that was 19 feet long- even I was really amazed! There was a spot which was a tunnel and the walls and ceilings had large lobsters... he got to know when it was coming and would say "I dont want lobsters" and would want me to cover up his head :) Wayne and I had some great dinners- Cafe Martinique and The Poop Deck were among favorites. The beans and rice (I LOVE) was outstanding as well as the local plantains we had at a local joint on the main island. Regis and Kelly was taping while we were there and we sat next to Kelly one night we went to dinner. I also saw Kelly Pickler (american idol) on night walking around the shops.

Thanks Honey for working so hard so we can take awesome vacations! We made a lot of great memories with the Luke- I am so glad we went :)

Les -so cute about Luke wanting his head covered so he couldn't see the lobsters!! I laughed out loud :-). Atlantis is so cool! Been there once- didn't get to stay there, but we walked around. So fun!
