Not Me!

Here we go!

* I did not email the director of Luke's school thursday to take him out of school, only to realize this morning that there was NO WAY I could do everything I needed to do and still care for him--- so I called them up and renigged on the cancel. (Of course they love him so much they took him right back excitedly! )

* Our new year did not start with one of our tenants leaving their keys on our steps--- and a home left vacated needing tons of rehab which I am now scrambling to complete so the house can go on the awesome real estate market. Not Me!

* I did not go to Home Depot THREE times today with an infant in her car seat carrier. I did not push her along inside the one bright orange cart, while dragging another cart, while talking on my cell phone about my closing tomorrow, AND picking up 40 lb. tubs of paint. Can one person do all that at the same time??

* I did not try on scrubs for like a half hour tonight and feel totally goofy when I looked in the mirror. Do I really wear these to work??? Start my new hospital job tomorrow! Wish me Luck!!!

Out-Takes

I never got a picture of sister in her Christmas dress, nor put together a christmas card photo... so I dressed the kids up this morning and made an attempt to get a cute shot. And of course it was harder than I thought it would be!...

But I had no AA batteries- no where- in the house. Darn... ok, I will use my iPhone. Which takes great pictures in light, but you can't be moving or they are blurry. I thought Luke could hold sister in his lap since she is a little bigger now...

It went kind of like this: Luke, ok, sit in the chair. No! Sit still. Ok now put your hands around sister's tummy (he is laughing and won't sit still). Careful now! We don't want sister falling off the chair! ... Now he starts LICKING sister (see below)


And sister thinks that is totally funny :)
No Luke! Stop licking sister! Let's get a good shot, and then mommy will give you candy! "Oooooohhhh, where's my candy?" Not until you get your picture. Say cheese! "cheeeeeese"...

Not me Tuesday...

So we just got back into town, so it is Not me Tuesday for me this week! I did NOT agree to take a road trip with the kids and Wayne's parents to Savannah, GA (7 hours away) for a long weekend.

We did not praise Hotels.com in the car for their excellent phone service only to pull up to the said booked hotel who had NO non-smoking rooms. It then did NOT take an hour to debate with the front desk person and hotels.com to get a cancellation b/c my babies were not sleeping in a smokey room. Not us!

Lukey did not stand at the door and pee (you should see this guys stream it is impressive even to him!) 5 or six feet away from the van into a ditch so we didn't have to stop at a rest stop :)

I did NOT watch Kung Fu Panda seven times in the last 3 days.

Sister did NOT go the entire trip without a bath, no that would not have been good. (she is bathed now folks)

So we lived to tell about it! I'll post some pics later :)

What to "do"

I've begged, I've pleaded, I've encouraged, I've bribed, I've spanked, I've cried...
I bought him Elmo, Bob the Builder, Diego, and Handy Manny Undies... but still no pooping on the potty :(


So I've resorted to patience. Do you think he will just one day do it ? ? ?

Oh No, Not Me!

Joining the fun "Not Me Monday" Game... here is a look at my week and the things I most certainly did not do....

I did not take my son to the bathroom for a talk during church worship because he would not sit still and was totally disobeying me. I then did not when we got back to the service let my 3 1/2 year old suck his baby sisters paci on the floor so he would be quiet and I wouldn't lose it.

I do not have a 3 1/2 year old who refuses to poop on the potty... and I did not make him wash his own poopy underwear in the sink 3 times saturday morning.

I was not waiting for a table at a nice restaurant at the Virginia Beach OceanFront, only to look over twenty feet at my son, who had his pants and undies at his ankles, proudly peeing off the band stand where the whole boardwalk could see him. I did not let him finish, feeling mortified while my husband laughed and I wondered if I should just pretend he wasn't mine!

I did not spend quite a bit of time last week thinking about the fact that I will be 30 tomorrow- that is old!
